A lifelong resident of Saint Albans and a Marshall University graduate, Walt has sharpened his business acumen as a commercial insurance agent for 19 years with Morris Insurance Services, helping countless corporations reach their operational goals. One need only walk down Saint Albans’ Olde Main Plaza during an event to see the impact Walt has made in his role as businessman, Chamber of Commerce member, Saint Albans Dementia Friendly Co-Chair, Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association, Rotarian leader, Councilman-At-Large, Vice Mayor, and 25177 Foundation President. As friendly and personable as he is dedicated, Walt is tireless in his service to his community. He can always be found working shoulder-to-shoulder with his fellow citizens or reprising his role with Susan, his wife of 34 years, as Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
