District 098 – Paul Espinosa

Elected in 2012, Paul serves as House Majority Whip and as a member of the Rules, Finance, Banking & Insurance and Technology & Infrastructure Committees where he advocates for first-rate schools, economic growth, greater government accountability and transparency, and controlling government spending. In addition, Paul chairs the Parks, Recreation & Natural Resources Subcommittee and serves on the Joint Standing Committee on Finance and the Select Committee on Minority Issues during legislative interims.

Paul, a past president of the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and is public affairs manager for ROCKWOOL North America in Ranson. He and his wife Cathy reside in Charles Town and are the parents of three children.
